Paddle Mixer worked great for mixing drywall joint compound in 5 gallon bucket. I used a 6 amp 0-900 rpm maximum 1/2" power drill. You will have to "clamp" the 5 gallon bucket with your feet to prevent it from turning with the paddle. I looked at similar mixing paddles at Amazon and Home Depot, and all recommended a 1/2 power drill.
